with St. Joseph’s Health and AbleTo to provide
free mental well-being services
for Paterson residents.

Services provided in partnership with the Health Coalition of Passaic County and Paterson Healing Collective.

What do you get? 

Eight free virtual counseling and well-being tools from our private 3rd party partner, AbleTo.

You can connect through the app (iPhone or Android), a website, call, text, or printed materials. 

You are eligible if:

1. You live in Paterson, NJ with a proof of residency (NJ Driver License, NJ Non-Driver ID, or a utility bill)

2. Your combined household income is:

1 Person < $57,700 | 2 people < $65,950 | 3 people < $74,200 | 4 people < $82,400 | 5 people < $89,000 | 6 people < $95,600 | 7 people < $102,200 | 8 people < $108,800

3.  You have not received mental health benefits from other federal resources due to COVID-19

When does it start?

September 1st, 2022 through June 3, 2023.  


How to sign up? 

Step 1: Complete the form above and submit electronically

NOTE: you will need to upload your proof of residency (NJ Driver License, NJ Non-Driver ID, or a utility bill).

If you need to complete a paper form, please take a photo of the form with your proof of residency and email: inlab@sjhmc.org.

Step 2:  Once submitted, you will get the notification that your document has been signed and also have the option to download and save your completed form.

Step 3: Within 2 business days, you will be notified of eligibility approval. If eligible, you will receive an email from AbleTo with confirmation of your initial appointment with a therapist (scheduled based on your preferred availability listed on the form). If not eligible, you will receive an email with an explanation and some options for alternative resources.
